Tan Nam Meun Chey International Border Gate Project was started in October 2024 with a total investment of 274 billion VND from the central budget and Tay Ninh province. With the Tay Ninh Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, the project includes 5 main items: National gate, joint control station, square and ceremonial yard, border control station

Tan Nam Meun Chey International Border Gate: A New Driving Force for Vietnam–Cambodia Trade
The opening of Tan Nam Meun Chey International Border Gate is expected to become a “golden gateway” that boosts trade, logistics, and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. Strategically located in the Tay Ninh – Prey Veng border area, this border gate facilitates faster transportation of key agricultural products such as durian, mango, and rubber.
Beyond commercial benefits, the new border gate also opens opportunities for cultural and tourism exchanges, strengthens bilateral relations, and enhances the regional economic role of Tay Ninh in Southeast Asia.
As global economic integration accelerates, the Tan Nam – Meun Chey Border Gate is not just an infrastructure project but also a symbol of connectivity and sustainable development. BORDER GATE LOCATION
According to the agreed content, the Opening Ceremony will be held on December 5, 2025.
Provincial Road 791 connects to The Tan Nam – Meun Chey International Border Gate, passing through Lo Go – Xa Mat National Park. The route is more than 10km long, designed with 2 lanes for cars.
